I currently am a Meteorologist and MMJ at WALB-TV in Albany, Georgia. In my two plus years of on-air experience, I have covered three Tornado Emergencies, dozens of Tornado Warnings, multiple tropical systems including Hurricanes Hermine, Matthew, Harvey, and Irma, and devastating flooding across Southwest Georgia. My goal every day is to use my skills with WSI, social media, and broadcasting to convey he weather story to my community in a way they will understand.
When not in the studio, I do live shots in our Storm Tracker for severe weather and community events. I am fluent in news gathering equipment including shooting, editing, writing, and digital aspects.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Spring 2015 and will complete the Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology program at Mississippi State University in Summer 2018. It is my goal to become a certified meteorologist shortly thereafter.
I am happily married and ready for new adventures!
